Some of them, terrified of their magic nature and their future fragility, condemn their power and their own existence, holding on to their old wooden bodies and so stopping the natural evolution of their own being. They become hostile and dangerous, being disowned from their own clan and hunt younger fairies to steal parts of their bodies and chase the thoughtless who dare cross their territory."
